Returns

If you are dissatisfied with an item purchased from one of our stores or through our website, you may request a return, subject to the conditions below.

Return Requirements

To process a return, you must provide:
• Original proof of purchase (Tax Invoice)
• Valid proof of identification
• All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and included components
Products must be returned within 7 (seven) working days from the original date of purchase.
To qualify for a return, the product must:
• Be unused and in its original condition.
• Be free from damage or signs of misuse.
• Include all original packaging, which must be unopened, undamaged, and untampered with.
• Be eligible for return in accordance with health and hygiene regulations.
Returns that do not meet these requirements may be declined.

Non-Returnable Products

For health, hygiene, and sanitary reasons, Clinihealth cannot accept returns or exchanges on products where the packaging has been opened, removed, damaged, or tampered with.
The following products are non-returnable and non-refundable unless they are found to have a verified manufacturing defect:
• Hernia Belts
• Orthopaedic Supports and Braces
• Toilet Seat Raisers
• Commodes
• Shower Chairs
• Toilet Safety Chairs
• Bunion Splints
• Compression Stockings
• Special Order / Buy-Out Items
• Any other products of a personal nature where hygiene or sanitary considerations apply.

Defective Products

Products found to have a manufacturing defect may be returned within 6 (six) months from the original date of purchase, subject to inspection and approval.
For online purchases, Clinihealth may request photographs, videos, or a written description of the fault before authorising the return.
Where applicable, reasonable transport, collection, administration, or handling costs may be charged.

Refunds & Exchanges

Refunds, replacements, exchanges, or store credits are not automatically approved and are subject to inspection and verification by Clinihealth.
The decision to approve a refund, exchange, replacement, or credit remains at the sole discretion of Clinihealth after assessing the returned product.
Where approved, refunds may be processed by:
• Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
• Cash (where applicable)
Please allow 10–14 working days for approved refunds to be audited, processed, and reflected in your bank account.

Warranty

Product Care

All products supplied by Clinihealth are intended to be used only for the purpose for which they were designed.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are:
• Used correctly and only for their intended purpose.
• Stored appropriately.
• Installed where applicable.
• Maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
• Handled in a reasonable and proper manner.
Failure to follow the manufacturer's care and usage instructions may void any applicable warranty.

6-Month Manufacturer's Warranty

Selected Clinihealth mobility and rehabilitation products are supplied with a 6-month manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects.
Eligible products include, but are not limited to:
• Manual Wheelchairs
• Transit Wheelchairs
• Rollators
• Walking Frames
• Patient Lifters
• Mobility Scooters (where applicable)
• Other eligible mobility and rehabilitation equipment specified at the time of purchase.

A manufacturer's warranty protects you against defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal use. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed during the warranty period, Clinihealth will, at its discretion:
• Repair the product;
• Replace the defective component;
• Replace the product; or
• Offer another suitable remedy.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The manufacturer's warranty does not cover:
• Normal wear and tear.
• Tyres, tubes, grips, upholstery, bearings, brake adjustments, or other consumable or wearable components.
• Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, fading, or surface marks.
• Damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper storage.
• Damage caused by overloading or using the product outside the manufacturer's recommended specifications.
• Rust or corrosion resulting from environmental exposure or improper storage.
• Damage resulting from unauthorised repairs, alterations, or modifications.
• Damage caused by using non-approved replacement parts or accessories.
• Products used for commercial hire or purposes other than their intended use.

Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim, customers must provide:
• The original Tax Invoice or proof of purchase.
• The product for inspection.
• A detailed description of the fault.
• Photographs or videos where requested for online purchases.
All warranty claims are subject to inspection by Clinihealth or the manufacturer to determine whether the issue is the result of a manufacturing defect.
If inspection determines that the damage resulted from misuse, accidental damage, neglect, normal wear and tear, improper maintenance, or any circumstance excluded from the warranty, the claim may be declined. Any repair costs, replacement parts, labour, transport, or collection charges in these instances will be for the customer's account.
This manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act and does not limit any statutory rights available to South African consumers.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Clinihealth shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or consequential loss arising from the misuse, improper handling, incorrect installation, unauthorised modification, or unintended use of any product supplied.
